Role Overview

The Junior Sales Executive / Account Manager will be responsible for managing and developing a portfolio of existing accounts. The purpose of the role is to strengthen relationships with these customers, improve engagement with the company’s product portfolio, and grow revenue within these accounts.

This role will support the senior sales team by ensuring that smaller or lower-frequency customers receive regular attention, follow-up, and sales support.

The ideal candidate will be highly organised, proactive, and eager to develop a career in sales and account management within the professional audio and musical instrument industry.

Key Responsibilities

Account Management

  • Manage a portfolio of existing customers that require development and attention.
  • Maintain regular communication with assigned accounts through calls, emails, and visits where necessary.
  • Build strong working relationships with store owners, managers, and sales staff.
  • Identify opportunities to grow sales within existing accounts.

Sales Development

  • Promote and sell the company’s  product portfolio
  • Assist customers with product recommendations and suitable solutions.
  • Follow up on quotations and sales opportunities.

Customer Support

  • Provide product information, pricing, and availability to customers.
  • Assist customers in selecting appropriate products based on their needs.
  • Ensure customers are aware of promotions, new products, and campaigns.

Internal Coordination

  • Work closely with the internal sales team, logistics, and marketing department.
  • Assist with dealer promotions and marketing initiatives.
  • Provide feedback on market trends, competitor activity, and customer requirements.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Growth in sales revenue from assigned accounts
  • Increase in order frequency from managed customers
  • Customer engagement and relationship development
  • Successful follow-up and conversion of sales opportunities
  • Accurate CRM and sales reporting

Minimum Requirements

  • 1–3 years sales or customer service experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good organisational and administrative abilities
  • Basic understanding of sales processes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Valid driver’s license 

Advantageous

  • Experience in the audio, musical instrument, or technology retail industry
  • Passion for music, live sound, DJ equipment, or pro audio technology
  • Previous account management experience
