JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dynamic, pro-active person for a Business Development role in the House of Worship sector, focused on stimulating opportunities for Audio, Video and Lighting solutions in churches, ministries, and religious organisations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Strategic Business Development: Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities within the House of Worship sector.
  • Consultative Sales & Technical Solutions: Conduct site visits and provide expert guidance on AV solutions, including audio, video and lighting, with the assistance of our technical pre-sales team.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build long-term, trust-based relationships with church leadership, pastors, worship directors, and technical staff.
  • Proposal & Project Management: Work with our technical pre-sales team to create and present comprehensive AV proposals alongside our dealers.
  • Industry Expertise: Stay up-to-date with the latest AV technology trends, specifically tailored to House of Worship needs.
  • Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, forecasts, and CRM data.

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; confident in presenting to church leadership.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong knowledge of Professional Audio, Video, and Lighting systems.
  • Church Context: Deep understanding of church culture, ministry goals, and the challenges of volunteer-led production environments.
  • Client Relations: Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Tools: Proficiency in CRM software, MS Office.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience: Experience in the industry is essential.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of Audio, Lighting & Video products.
  • Qualifications: Matric Certificate.
  • Transport: Own vehicle is essential.
